My Article Summary
In my Article “ School tackle twist and turns of Cyber bullying’’ Michelle R. Davis states that “Schools should have no qualms about taking action when cyberbullying affects the school setting, causing safety issues rather to students or faculty numbers”. She supports that school should be involved with cyber bullying that is don’t on and off school campus. One of the many reasons she gave is that cyberbullying can lead to suicide. She told many cases where there was suicide due to cyber bullying. Ms. Davis was very intrigued in this article. This article had many fact and realistic information you could tell she was an expert on this topic. Her purpose for this article was to inform people on what a big issue this really is. She showed what really goes on when it come to school being involved with cyber bullying. Ms. Davis had many realistic answers to the problem and ways that school could be involved without going over the limit. Showed also why school should be involved. In the article it was information about how it could be pushed more in school to show students that this is not a joke and it is very serious. She chose to tell that because a lot of kids just see it as joking around and having fun, but this is a legal term now when suicide became a part of it. She talked about why school does not really try to get into the problem anymore. She talked about many cases where schools tried to step in but the court would not allow them simply because it was not done on school ground.
